We are located in Escalona, a small touristic village in the region of Sobrarbe, in the heart of the Pyrenees of Huesca,
at the entrance of Ordesa National Park.

A good location is basic in order to choose accommodation for your holidays. This is also the case for rural tourism. The location of our rural apartments is perfect. They are very central, that is why they will be a perfect base of operations from where you can start your daily adventure. From our privileged situation you can go depth into Ordesa National Park or go on hikes in unknown corners of the Pyrenees of Huesca. You will also be able to discover the magical villages that surround us: Aínsa, Boltaña, Bielsa, Plan... all of it within few kilometers.
Rural tourism is based on the contact with the nature and with traditions that are in most cases already forgotten. Our rural apartments will be your door to this magical world. The Aragonese Pyrenees still preserve this former magical aura: witches, magical creatures, giants, gods... all of them are still somehow present in the North of Huesca. Besides, the proximity to Ordesa, to the natural parks of Poset-Maladeta and to the Mountains and Canyon of Guara or the Geopark of the Pyrenees will be essential to discover the natural wealth of our region, one of the most beautiful ones in Huesca.
How to get to there?
Attention: the GPSs do not usually calculate the route correctly.
From Zaragoza y Madrid you will have to pass by Barbastro,
from Bilbao y Pamplona by the N-240 Sabiñanigo-Fiscal.
Once in Aínsa, go along A-138 to France (passing by Bielsa): we are only 9 kilometers away.
Make sure the chosen route passes through the following points:
- From Barcelona: Lleida, Barbastro, Ainsa, Escalona (288 Km, 3h 08’).
- From Zaragoza: Huesca, Barbastro, Ainsa, Escalona (183 Km, 2h 11’).
- From Madrid: Zaragoza, Huesca, Barbastro, Ainsa, Escalona (492 Km, 5h 08’).
- From Valencia: Reus, Lleida, Barbastro, Ainsa, Escalona (440 Km, 4h 49’).
- From Bilbao: Vitoria/Gasteiz, Pamplona/Iruña, Jaca, Sabiñánigo, Fiscal, Boltaña, Ainsa, Escalona (350 Km, 3h 54’).
- From Toulouse: Lannemezan, Arreau, St Lary, Bielsa, Escalona (210 Km, 2h 38’).
